M101 is offered with the latest Intel® Celeron N2920 1.6GHz quad-core Bay Trail processor to provide high performance and low power consumption, providing extended battery life. It supports with Windows® Embedded 8.1 operating system to fulfill increasing requirement in industrial applications and provides an alternative solution for those between general consumer and extremely rugged application.

Applicable standards
In terms of device ruggedness, the M101B can withstand a 4-foot drop, and with IP65 sealing, where the first digit "6" means the device is dustproof and the second digit "5" means that the device has the ability to handle low pressure water jets from all directions. The tablet can operate in temperature range of -10° to 50°C, optimized for most industrial deployments. M101B is a sharp looking, sturdy and powerful device that can hold up well against use in harsh environment with its industrial grade rugged design.

 Computer made in accordance with the requirements of the U.S. military standard MIL-STD-810G. He keeps working after falling onto concrete from a height of 1.2 meters, is not afraid of vibration, shock, water, mud and temperature changes. Certification C1D2 means that during operation of the tablet will not occur and the spark generating heat sufficient to ignite the vapors contained in the atmosphere of acetylene, hydrogen and other gases (important when operating in the petroleum industry). Operating temperature range from minus 20 to plus 60 degrees Celsius.

IP65 Resistance
IP stands for Ingress Protection and is essentially a rating system developed by the International Electrotechnical Commission or the IEC. The system is now being used to classify different degrees of protection against intrusion or immersion. The IP rating is usually followed by two digits. The first indicates the level of dust-resistance, the second water resistance. Dust-resistance levels goes from 0 up to 6 while water-resistance goes from 0 to 8.

With built-in 5.0 Mega Pixels camera on rear side, users can capture photos, videos, documents instantly, or utilize the front 2.0 Mega Pixel camera for application such as user self video recording, or video communication.

Winmate describes the M101B tablet as "rugged" and with its corner protection it certainly looks much tougher than all those Barbie-thin and fragile consumer tablets. Environmental specs include a 14 to 122 degree Fahrenheit operating temperature range, four foot drop, and IP65 sealing rating. Given Winmate's experience in rugged mobile computing, we assume those are just partial specs.
