·         Enables or disables the saved profiles

·         Prompts you to save a new profile

·         Restores the default display profiles

Display Profile

The "Display Profile" refers to the settings you select by clicking Start -> Control Panel, then double-clicking the Intel Extreme Graphics or the Display icon. From the window that appears, you can modify several display properties.

The display profile is made up of the following elements:

1.      LCD and/or CRT state

·         Only LCD enabled

·         Only CRT enabled

·         Dual display clone

·         Extended Desktop

2.      Display resolution

3.      Color depth

4.      Display orientation

5.      When Extended Desktop is enabled, the following elements are supported:

·         Primary/Secondary device

·         Resolution/color depth/orientation for primary/secondary device

·         Display positions of primary and secondary with respect to each other. (e.g., top, bottom). This is set from the Properties -> Settings tab by dragging the image for device 1 or 2.

6.      Scaling or panel fitting (in cases in which the resolution is lower than the default)

Display Profile Limitations:

·         When dual display clone is used, the primary/secondary device recognition is not supported.

·         Due to issues with the display driver, scaling may not be retained.

The Display Profile area consists of six checkboxes and two buttons:
